Team Guidelines

  1. All teams compete both days with the first day score accounting for 1/3 and the second day score accounting for 2/3 of the overall score.
  2. Routine time limit is 2 minute and 30 seconds. Timing begins with the first organized movement or the first note of music starts. Routine ends with the last organized movement or the last note of music.
  3. WSF reserves the right to add, change, delete or combine divisions for any reasons as well as move teams to designated divisions.
  4. All team members must start within the competition floor.
  5. There is no out of bounds penalty unless:
    1. You start off of the spring floor mats, from the concrete stage.
    2. You land a skill off the spring floor mats onto the concrete or stage.
  6. Teams will compete on a 54X42 spring floor at every WSF National Championship.
  7. Teams may not pre-build any partner stunt or pyramids before timing starts.
  8. Timing will begin with the first organized movement of a cheer or dance, the first words or building of a partner stunt or pyramid.
  9. Flag, signs, megaphones, and pom pons may be used as props in your all-star cheerleading routine. No other props allowed for all-star cheerleading routines.
  10. One representative from your group will be responsible for running your music during the competition. This person is required to remain at the sound booth through your team's entire performance.
  11. Bring your own music plus backup. If you're using a custom burned CD, please realize that some burned CD's will not play on all CD players. Therefore, if you use a burned CD it's at your own risk. Please bring a backup copy of your music on a cassette tape.
  12. In the event your routine is interrupted due to failure of WSF equipment, facilities, etc., you may restart your routine from the beginning of the routine or from when the interruption occurred.
  13. If the interruption is due to failure of your equipment or injury, you may either continue or withdraw from the competition.
  14. WSF officials reserve the right to stop a performance due to injury.
