| Division Combine Policy
The USASF mandates that
event producers will combine "Small and Large" teams
into one division when there are not atleast 2 teams registered
for the each respective divisions (Exception: Divisions will not
be combined if a gym has both a "Small and Large" team
competiting in the same category, to avoid having a gym compete
against itself.
WSF reserves the right to further split divisions according to
overall team size should total number of teams and the variance
of number of performers on each team warrant this.

Disclaimer: WSF
reserves the right to add/combine division(s) to create the best
possible atmosphere for a competitive National Championship. Divisions
may be combined when there are 3 or less teams registered in a
division by the registration deadline for that particular Championship.
Note:
Due to the substantial increase of number divisions offered by
the USASF, WSF will use the following policy for adding/combining
small and large divisions within a level. When divisions within
levels offer small and large, and there are at least 2 teams in
each small and large division, WSF will not combine small and
large. If there is only 1 team in a either the divisions, WSF
will combine small and large within a level in order to create
a competitive environment for the National Championships.
Example #1:
Small Senior 2- 1 team
Large Senior 2- 2 teams
Result: Combine division into Senior 2 with 3 teams competing
Example #2:
Small Senior 2- 2 teams
Large Senior 2- 2 teams
Result: No change; Keep divisions divided into Small and Large
Special Note: The
grade restrictions mentioned under the information describing
each division offered by the WSF indicate status for the 2007-2008
school year. Each participant must be currently receiving credit
for their work from an accredited school at the time of the competition
(Excluding Open participants). Any participant proven to be in
violation of the age, grade or school restrictions will be automatically
disqualified from the WSF event. Furthermore, if eligibility is
challenged, proof of the violation must be presented to WSF before
an investigation can be determined.
